i hate fluids

Been trying out the fluids tutorial Compressible Flow for a few days, only completed 4/8. Seriously, I feel like puking. Its a chore doing all this work. I'm really not that interested in the expansion of a fluid from subsonic to supersonic flow through a converging-diverging nozzle; and the compression of a fluid vice versa through a diffuser. Shock wave when the back pressure is higher than the stagnation pressure? Gheek, if thats not enough, Fanno line flow when friction is taken into account. Haiz, head BIG BIG.

Although taking 4 modules this sem, they are all really quite difficult. I wonder why! Last sem modules wasn't this hard (my prescribed/specialsed bioengineer modules that is). Now I'm having second thoughts applying for jobs related to bioengineer. Ghee, they can get very technical too also you know?

I start to think about the future. Since starting out is so tough, I covet to b a Tai Tai!!! Anybody wanna apply? *yahoooo... (better shut up lest the boyfren make noise)

Haven't been doing much thinking nowdays. Just carried on with the mundane, work and more work (sometimes dreaming of the As). Being an airhead in front of the boyfren is definately easy and fun.

Been seeing some changes around. Life is unpredictable, along with these changes, I found a side of me, that is cynical and disappointed.

Indeed life is not a bed of roses, so no point harping on what we cannot change.

So do treasure life. Accept what is life and embrace the good of it.

.

easier to pinch you, wrestle with you and even say the negative
At times I even feel on top of the world for mistreating you.
Yet all the times I'm needy, I look for you.
It makes me in awe
you swallow the pride, you think for me
and you think of me.
You say the sweet nothings
every day, many times a day
I don't know what to say of us
The more I feel for you
the more I've nothing to say of you.
I just know I want to be with you
Everyday, many moments
My heart pounds for you
when we touch when we kiss
It has been even more so now
Happy 9th month Anniversary
Forever Love

huh

Through Multiply, I found an acquaintance from my sec sch days, married!
And thru her blog, i felt her..

Shes married for a yr.
can see that she has been cooking alot for her hubby (like a housewife)
and she said she felt cold slping beside her hubby.
"Wat a hubby" she said, when he doesn't even want to ask her abt her daily life anymore. He says "Why ask..hows your day, when the replies are alwis the same?"

He jus wan her to cook for him.

Marriage is not totally bout love.
Its about two person sharing a common goal.
Setting up a family together or just wanting to be with each other till the end of time.
But a couple will reach a stage where they no longer feel the love between them

What keep the two binding closely together are their common goals and aspirations, romance and passion. But when those factors and directions are lost.....

Silence used to smell sweet. But now silence seems breathless.
Arguments are no longer constructive and seems pointless day by day.
Selfishness overwhelms the dying love.

Was there ever love? This question seems so mysterious this moment.

Actually I alwis ponder wat Baby will b like during marriage?

Don't...ask me to cook....I can't...
Don't ask me to clean... I dunno how...
Don't leave me in the lurch.. I am not independent enough..
Don't snore..I can't slp...Don't wake me up..I cant think wif a heavy head...
I'm easily jealous, I'm easily saddened, I'm easily bored
I still can't figure out myself at times but I expect you to figure yourself out..

How can the boyfren tahan these?

Last Saturday, Darling and I went Sakae @ PS.

After that we went to watch The Queen! I wanted to watch that for a super long time.. and finally got to watch it. Feel that the show is quite insightful - let you into the world of the royals. Not so royal after all...they are after all humans with flaws.

haha..lazy to find big pictures...

Emmy award winner Helen Mirrel..not astounded by her acting..just feel that she is acting as the queen ma..must act like that lor. haha

All hail Helen Mirren, who delivers a master class in acting in The Queen. Having just won an Emmy for playing Elizabeth I, who ruled England from 1558 to 1603, Mirren is in line for a curtsy from Oscar for digging deep into the role of Elizabeth II, the queen since 1952.

If you're expecting a soggy biopic about a monarch known for her rigid formality, snap out of it. The Queen is one of the best and liveliest movies of the year - funny and touching in ways you can't predict. Set mostly during the week after the August 1997 death of Princess Diana, whose rebellious behavior before and after her divorce from Prince Charles (Alex Jennings) gave the royal family palpitations, the film goes behind closed doors at Buckingham Palace.

The script, by Peter Morgan, who used "inside sources," is a model of elegance and bracing wit. The gifted Stephen Frears directs with an eye for telling detail and an ear for the emotions roiling under polite royal speech. Frears and Morgan teamed on The Deal, a 2003 British TV movie about Prime Minister Tony Blair. Michael Sheen played the role then and does so here, finding the steel behind the PM's killer charm. It's a sensational performance, alert and nuanced.

Sheen had to be that good to take on Mirren. After the PM's election, the queen brings him down a peg by reminding him that he is her tenth PM, Winston Churchill being the first. The tables turn when Blair mourns Diana on TV as "the people's princess." His speechwriter (Mark Bazeley) coined the phrase, but Blair rides it to popular glory while the queen freezes out her subjects by taking refuge at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The queen mother (Sylvia Syms) is appalled at the publicity. Ditto Prince Philip, a dotty nut job as played by James Cromwell, who predicts a funeral attended by "soap stars and homosexuals." He gasps that "Elton John will be singing at Westminster." And so he does.

Frears uses footage of the funeral and the real Diana to comment on the action. But the real triumph of the film is the dignity it finally allows the queen. Bred to serve since girlhood, she has dedicated herself to a life Diana rejected. And yet as the queen walks past the mountain of flowers the people have left at the palace and reads the notes of love to Diana - and the insults to Her Majesty - Mirren lets us see the confusion and hurt in Elizabeth's eyes.

It's Blair who has forced her back to London to mourn Diana publicly, much against her private nature. In a tart reference to Blair's current career reversals, the script has the queen tell him that "one day, quite suddenly, the same thing will happen to you." Palace politics keep the film zipping along, but the crowning achievement is Mirren's. With subtle humor and innate class, she shows us a side of the queen long hidden from the world: her humanity.

You know the best thing i feel about her show? HEr dogs!!! 3 of them at the ending... and no dog chains on them..Welsh Corgi.. I also want..

Lust LUST lust......
