4 years on..

Clarissa,
I was happy to see your name appear on my list of contacts when I joined Linked In a few months ago! I think that since then I've been thinking about sending you an email just to touch base and say "hello". I see your long list of accomplishments and steady work on the site and I'm really, really proud of you! And from your photo I can see you're as pretty as ever!

I'm still working at HBS but my role there has changed significantly over the years and I'm always learning new, exciting and more marketable skills. I'm also STILL working on my masters degree but at least I'm almost finished. I have an apartment not far from that old farmhouse we used to hang out in, but this one's A LOT bigger and nicer! I also have two crazy dogs.  XXX

Last year my brother and I hiked over 100 miles on the Appalachian Trail which runs through the Appalachian mountains from Maine to Georgia and I'm now intent on hiking the entire 2200 miles from start to finish within the next 3-5 years.

Well that's the (really brief) update but what I really wanted to convey to you is that whenever you enter into my mind I always think very fondly of you and the time we spent together. I have an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for having met you and getting to know you while you were here. You had a really positive effect on my life and meeting you surely changed my life for the better. I will never forget those times. I am also really proud of your success and still amazed by your courage as I can see you're still traveling the globe! I'm honestly not sure if you would fee the same about me being that our relationship ultimately ended but I hope you do have good memories of me still and I'd love to get the update on what's happened in your life if you find the time.

Sincerely,

I believe.

I believe.

I believe the equation is very simple. Everything is made up of simple equations. Too complex now? Simplify it. The equation ends up to be really simple. Take small, simple steps.

I believe we all CAN reach it. It's just how you see it. Know yourself and make yourself see it.

I believe our life, as explicitly put already, is  OUR life. Take Control. If you believe in yourself, the whole battle's won.

Hear Jesus. He is rooting for you. We will win the devil.
